The course is asynchronous &#8211; it does not run in real time so you are free to work each day in a time that suits you.  The course includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Using the <em>wiki<\/em> tool to create collaborative team building activities.<\/li><li>Using the <em>glossary<\/em> tool to create and manage lists of resources that participants help to build as part of a course.<\/li><li>Using the <em>database<\/em> tool to create, maintain and search a collection of records or entries. <\/li><li>Using the <em>chat<\/em> tool to enables participants to have text-based, real-time synchronous discussions during a course.<\/li><li>Using the <em>lesson<\/em> tool to create branching scenarios so participants can choose their own path through a learning exercise.<\/li><li>Using the <em>workshop<\/em> tool to manage peer review of an activity.<\/li><li>Using <em>blocks<\/em> to add further content in a Moodle course<\/li><li>Creating a certificate of completion for a course using the <em>Custom Certificate<\/em> plugin.<\/li><li><em>Authenticating, enrolling<\/em> and creating <em>self-enrollment keys<\/em> for participants.<\/li><li><em>Backing-up, restoring,<\/em> copying and <em>resetting<\/em> a course.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Completed the course <em>Building with Moodle Basics<\/em><\/li><li>Intermediate computer skills.<\/li><li>Up-to-date computer.<\/li><li>Reliable internet connection.<\/li><li>3-8 hours per week over 3 weeks. Actual time depends on your IT skills and learning speed. Able to complete tasks and assignments by required times each week.<\/li><li>Commitment to learn, engage in online discussions and complete assignments.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This course is still being built.
